The Electric Motorcycle
Everything you wanted to know about building an EV Motorcycle

Step 7: Making it look good!

Now we take the time to tear it all down, paint the frame and make it look like something we want to take to charity bike shows and the beach. We are not trying to make it look "Show Quality" as we will ride it, just presentable and safe!

Looks like Electric Orange to me!

We have painted the frame and are looking for better and lighter parts.

Finally Done!

I could only find an inexpensive "no external power"

40 volt gauge, so it reads half of the 72 volt pack.

Me taking a spin in the neighborhood.

We hope all of this info helps you with your project!!!

The required disclaimer: This information is about what we learned on our project and is not intended to do anything but show you how we did ours. LEARN all you can before starting any project with this much voltage.  A 9 volt battery, applied correctly, can kill you. Think about what 6 - 12 volt car batteries can do if not wired correctly.
